“The Best Possible Gift You Can Give Someone”
If you celebrate Christmas or customarily give people gifts at this time of year, here's my suggestion for the best possible gift you can give someone you care about...
And guess what?
It doesn't cost any money...
You won't have to *make* anything...
It's virtually effortless...
And it will bring the kind of joy and happiness that lasts a
life-time.
It is...
Your attention.
That's right! In the time you have with the people you care
about, give them your undivided, genuinely interested, non-judgmental attention.
Show an interest in their lives - what they're doing, what their
hopes, dreams and fears are, what they think about... Ask
questions that show you care. And listen to what they say.
If they start ranting and raving, try to steer them towards more
uplifting, positive topics.
But, most of all, give them a voice and, as my 4 year old
daughter says, "put your listening ears on".
And remember, this is a GIFT - something you give without
expecting anything in return - so don't be concerned if you don't
get much attention back!
Nevertheless, give your attention... and see the difference it makes.

“3 Tips For Keeping Your New Year's Resolutions”
Many people make them... Most people break them...Yes, they're New Year's Resolutions!
Here are my top 3 tips for helping you KEEP your 2007 New Year's Resolutions:
1. Make one resolution only. (Let's keep it simple, right?)
2. Choose a resolution you can start within two days. (Okay, you can take off New Year's Day to recover from all the partying... but there are no excuses after that!)
3. Choose something that's super-easy to start with. Remember our discussion about habits? You're starting a new habit, so if you're going to keep it, it has to be easy. You can always raise your commitment later on.

“How To Keep Your New Year's Resolution To Get a New Job”
Are you eager to change jobs... but worried that you'll end up spending ages looking for a job... only to get nowhere?
You know, where you spend day after day pouring through job listings... applying for countless jobs... sending numerous cover letters and resumes...
...only to get a “we’ll keep your details on file” rejection letter... or an interview with someone who seems determined NOT to hire you?
Well, it's not so surprising when you discover that 50% of all new jobs go to "Insiders"... people who take a different - and much more effective - approach to getting the job they want.
Yet all the books, career counsellors and recruiters tell us to apply for a job using the conventional "Outsider" approach!
No wonder getting a job is so hard.
Well it doesn't have to be... and it's NOT.
Not when YOU discover and apply the Insider approach to getting a job.
