“If This Single Mom Can Do It... So Can You!”
Dare to dream big... then go for it.
If I could sum up my interview with Rachel Goodchild, that's
what I'd say.
Rachel is funny, down-to-earth and VERY inspiring. She's a
single mom, living in rural New Zealand...
She's also an international freelance writer, book author
and motivational speaker!
Listen to my audio interview to discover:
- How Rachel broke into the freelance writing market. She now writes for publications around the world and has book contracts with a major publisher - and she did it by doing the exact OPPOSITE of what the "gurus" say you must do to become a published author.
- Why Rachel sees instinct as being fundamental to being successful... and how to develop and improve YOUR instinct.
- How Rachel has used the power of SHARING ideas - rather than keeping them to herself - to attract success into her life. (You can do this too!)
- How Rachel deals with challenges - and she's had her fair share. And what she considers to be the KEY to making breakthroughs.
- Why Rachel is parlaying her gifts into motivational speaking - and how she differs from many "run of the mill" motivational speakers. One of her life stories is just amazing - and she shares it in this interview!
- How she manages to run a full-time freelance management, writing and public speaking business whilst also looking after her three young children in a small farm in rural New Zealand.

“What My Financial Advisor Never Told Me (And Probably Won't
Tell You) About Investing”
It was just a few years ago. My financial advisor sat me down
and explained the differences between investing in stocks,
property, mutual funds, cash and the like... and the ideal "mix" of
each type of investment, depending on my age and whether I had a
high, medium or low tolerance for risk.
Since I was in my late 20s, had a higher than average income and,
apparently, a high tolerance for risk, he advised me to save a
certain amount of money for a home down payment and invest
everything else in a "growth portfolio"...
The plan was to invest in different mutual funds that created an
overall "portfolio" that emphasized capital growth rather than
income. That way, my financial advisor said, I'd have enough
money for a "nice house, nice lifestyle and nice retirement."
Problem was...
I DIDN'T WANT enough money for a "nice house, nice lifestyle and
nice retirement."

“What Is Internet Marketing... Really?”
Ask a corporate marketing executive and someone who sells "how to make money online" ebooks what "internet marketing" is and you may get two different answers.
Strictly speaking, "internet marketing" refers to any kind of
marketing activity conducted on or via the Internet - including
everything from advertising a brand, to generating website
visitors ("traffic"), to selling products and services online.
Therefore, anyone engaging in a marketing activity online - from
ebay... to the millions of people who sell stuff on ebay - is
involved in "internet marketing."
However, you may also know "internet marketing" as meaning
something slightly different - as referring to the activity of
selling information, products and services related to...
...internet marketing (i.e. how to market on the Internet)!
People who engage in this activity often refer to themselves as
"internet marketers" but technically they are internet marketers
involved in the "internet marketing niche".
In any case, if you hear one of these guys or gals refer to
"internet marketing", many times they're talking about selling
how-to internet marketing products and services, rather than
internet marketing in general.
Although sometimes they ARE referring to internet marketing in
general...
Yes... it can be a little confusing at times!

“Why I Drive a Mercedes and You Don't”
"Why I Drive a Mercedes and You Don't" is the tagline use by a couple of entrepreneurs - Steve Mitchell and Rosanna Lee Ryan - to promote their Million Dollar Roadmap membership program.
I've mentioned the program before and now the program is really starting to ramp up.
They are even planning to run a competition where you can win a one-week, all expenses paid trip to Los Angeles where the Million Dollar Roadmap team will fully evaluate and advise you on your business.
And here's the best part.
There's still time to join (and be in the running for the trip).
And what's more, the program is in beta, so it's CHEAP to join... (less than a cup of coffee a WEEK).
And that's despite the fact that you get everything from ongoing course material to two live workshops as part of the program.
Rosanna and Steve are even giving away 20+ short business videos to help your business, simply for taking a look over the main registration page.
Take a look:

Oh, and Rosanna and Steve are certainly not amateurs. Last year they personally topped $1.7 million in pre-tax PROFIT (not "sales") from their consulting. They have given large corporate seminars across the world on topics such as permission based marketing, and online marketing strategies and techniques.
So here's the deal. All you need to do is visit their site, read the preliminary stuff and if you "think" you might be interested you can request more detailed information.
Even if you simply visit their site, grab the videos and read what they have to say, you've done yourself a favor:

“What's The Safest Color To Drive?”
A study conducted by Monash University's Accident Research Centre
and sponsored by Australian car insurer, NRMA, has found that the
safest color to drive is... white!
The Accident Research Centre (ARC) analysed traffic accidents
occurring in Australia between 1987 and 2004, and found that
lighter colored cars were generally safer to drive, with white
being the safest.
The NRMA has said that color should be taken into account when
choosing a car based on safety features. However, they also
acknowledge that if a disproportionate number of motorists
suddenly switch to white colored cars... it may no longer be the
safest!
