“Branding Meets Direct Response Marketing”
(a.k.a. Ben Mack meets John Carlton on a Supermarket Shelf in
Fiji!)
So what happens when an investment banker-turned marketer - who
names marketing luminaries Ben Mack, John Carlton and Mark Joyner
as his mentors - takes on what is probably THE most competitive
market in the world: fast-moving consumer goods.
(You know, selling stuff like soap, laundry powder and dog food
in grocery stores).
Massive success, that's what!
You're about to meet Nik Thakorlal. Chances are you haven't heard
of Nik... but what he has to say about marketing, business and
the concept of risk will blow your mind. His unique approach
to marketing and business is rarely, if EVER, discussed by
marketers or business "gurus"... yet it holds the key to big-time
- and LONG-TERM success - in any field.
So whatever business you're in - whether you're an entrepreneur, professional or executive - grab a notebook and pen and listen to
this interview... SEVERAL times.
It's that critical.

“How an Ordinary Manager Transformed a Struggling Business On The Verge Of Collapse Into a $40 Million Company”
Here’s a shocking, yet true, story...
At the start of last year, a good friend of mine took the job of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at a small technology company.
The company was five years old, but hopelessly unprofitable.
It’s backers – a venture capital company – were growing impatient with the company’s abysmal performance and ordered the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to appoint someone who could commercialize the company’s technology – so they would finally have a product to sell.
Otherwise, the venture capital company would no longer fund the business.
My friend was excited about the job. He was a bit of a risk taker, and despite the pressure, looked forward to helping the company bring its product to market and build it into a profitable business.
But there was one problem.
A big problem.
The staff, the CEO warned him, were “incompetent and lazy.”
In fact, one of the reasons the CTO was being hired was to get
rid of the “dead wood.”
“Frankly,” the CEO told my friend, “you’ll probably have to fire
the lot of them.”

“The 10 Powerful Ideas That Transformed My Life”
By Saimen Ma
A while ago I came across some ideas and concepts that radically
transformed my life.
Don't get me wrong – I was a happy, positive person beforehand.
But when I truly understood and embraced what seemed to be simple
ideas... I began to see things a lot differently.
I had several "a-ha" moments. I started to see new opportunities
and began to make different choices.
And very quickly the quality of my life improved in all sorts of
way – my relationships, business, health, wealth self-esteem...
and yes, happiness.
This transformation began when I discovered the teachings of Lee
Milteer. You may not have heard of Lee, but she has counseled
and trained thousands of professionals all over North America
and Europe. She has worked with such companies as Walt Disney,
AT&T, XEROX, IBM, Ford Motor Co, Federal Express, 3M, the US
Navy, Bell Telephone and many others, plus hundreds of government
agencies, and scores of conventions and associations.
She has also shared the stage with many well-known personalities
such as Dan Kennedy, Tony Robbins, Jack Canfield, Mark Victor
Hansen, Zig Ziglar, Stephen Covey and Brian Tracy.
Anyway, Lee's ideas dramatically changed my life, and I'd like to
share with you the 10 ideas that had the most impact on me. You
may have heard some of these before, but in any case, I sincerely
encourage you to think about them and apply them in your life
too:
1. Stop buying into "mass belief" or what "they say". Most people
are not living the lives they'd like to live, so who are they to
tell you what to do or how to be?
2. Do things differently. If you do everything the same way
you've always done it... you'll get the same results. If you want
different (better) results in your life, you must do things
differently!
3. Victims create victims. When you face obstacles or temporary
defeat, it's tempting to sit there and feel sorry for yourself.
But this rarely helps matters and only perpetuates the feeling of
being weak and helpless. You must take 100% responsibility for
your results before you can experience any great success.
4. Get rid of that outdated opinion of yourself. If you're like
many people, you probably still beat yourself up over past
mistakes and failures... even though you've learned and grown a
great deal since then! It's time to let go of the past and
realize that you're not the same person now.
5. Everything that exists was created in someone's mind first.
You too, must visualize what you want in order for it to manifest
in real life.
6. Fake it 'till you make it! Funnily enough, by acting the part
you often end up becoming what you want to be.
7. You are a self-fulfilling prophecy: what you think about
yourself will inevitably come true. So think about what you
want... not what you don't want!
8. There is no single formula for success... but there is one
sure-fire formula for failure: trying to please everyone.
9. Let negative feelings go. Holding on to them only drains your
emotional, physical, mental and creative energy.
10. To accomplish success in such a changing world, you must also
change and adapt. So, don't resist, but embrace the changes in
markets, technologies and other areas, and use these to your
advantage.
I hope these 10 ideas have inspired you to think a little
differently... or have confirmed what you already knew! If you'd

“Don't Apply - Don't Even Look For - a Job Until You Read This!”
"What a great book! Anna has given me ideas and strategies that I
would never have thought of....EVER.
Which probably also means
that no one else will have thought of them either. I know for
certain that if I follow the principles of this book, I will have
a distinct advantage and edge over everyone else.
There are some amazing strategies in this book, such as: changing
how you think about what you "want", great resume writing ideas,
interview strategies/techniques and how to target key decision
makers in ANY company to get that job.
My personal favourite is the "Job Fulfillment Description" on a
resume. I had never heard of this until I read this book and I
think that most employers would be blown away when presented with
this technique.
Thank you Anna for writing such a great book. I plan to keep
this book for a very long time and keep it for my children to
read when they are ready to enter the workforce.
I recommend this book to anyone who cringes at the thought of
going to work or who has a dream job in mind."

“Why You Should Choose The Salad”
And opt for rare steak too.
Why?
Raw food contains enzymes which are like built-in digestion
systems. They help you digest the food you eat, sparing your
body of the arduous task of breaking it into nutrients, energy
and waste.
But if you cook or freeze your food, you'll destroy those
enzymes.
Which means it's now left up to your body to do all the
digesting.
Which wouldn't be such a problem... if it wasn't such a problem.
Unfortunately, everything from indigestion, to lack of energy,
to weight gain, to various digestive diseases, can be traced
fully or partly back to poor digestion - your body's inability to
properly digest food.
Why risk any of that? Next time you're given a choice, opt for
the salad (assuming it's made up of raw vegetables!), the fresh
fruit, the rare steak, the untoasted muesli, and the other "raw"
food options.
In fact, a good rule of thumb is to consume 50% or more of your
daily intake in the form of raw food. Your stomach will thank you
for it!
Oh, did I also mention that food retains more vitamins and
minerals the fresher it is? All the more reason to opt for raw.
