“5 Easy Steps To Making The Best Decisions”
Here's an easy 5-step approach to making the best - the most
informed and ethical - decision you can make in the
circumstances.
To remember each step, just think of the acronym, STORM:
S...stop
T...think
O...options
R...rules
M...make a choice
STOP: Before making any decision, stop and calmy consider the
situation.
THINK: Consider each aspect of the situation. Make sure you
have and understand all the relevant information.
OPTIONS: Consider the various courses of action you can take, and
their likely consequences.
RULES: Refer to any rules (e.g. laws, corporate policies,
professional standards, codes of conduct, your own "code" of
ethics, etc) that may govern the situation.
MAKE A CHOICE: Choose the best course of action in the
circumstances. If making this choice is still difficult, consult
people qualified to advise you. Also, imagine yourself in a
year's time. Are you likely to be proud of this choice then?
Try this approach out and let me know what you think!

“How To Manage People”
Some years ago, I realized that I needed to manage people more effectively if I was to succeed in business.
After all, I couldn't do everything myself.
And I couldn't afford to waste another cent on staff who were unmotivated and unproductive.
Yet, if I was to be honest myself, it was my own attitude and lack of knowledge that was holding me back from finding, hiring, motivating and managing the right people... the right way.
Not only was I a bit of a "control freak" but I didn't know what to do - and what NOT to do - to manage people effectively.
So I embarked on a mission to discover exactly how to manage people to achieve the best possible results.
Not just business results – like greater profitability, meeting or beating performance targets, productivity, low turnover and high morale – but also PERSONAL results like more money, more work satisfaction, and ultimately, less work, less stress and greater happiness!
I re-evaluated my experiences working for others and being in business for myself, and spent months reading over the latest theories and research on employee management. I then started assembling a comprehensive system for managing people.
Initially it was for myself, but as I spoke with other managers and business owners, I realized that others would benefit from the same system.
And, of course, seeing a widespread need... I saw a business opportunity too!
So I poured all my experiences, observations, discussions and research into a resource - the How To Manage People System - that any business owner or manager could use to quickly and dramatically transform him or herself into a highly effective manager.

“What Causes Sleepwalking?”
Sleepwalking refers to walking (and doing other activities)
whilst asleep.
Sleepwalkers have been known to do all kinds of things - from
sitting upright in bed, to walking, to eating, to sending people
text messages, to driving a car - all whilst fast asleep!
Sleepwalking is said to occur when someone doesn't properly
transition from "deep sleep" to REM sleep (the type sleep when
you dream). Most people are "paralyzed" when they dream, which
prevents them from acting out their dreams. Sleepwalkers, on the
other hand, retain their muscle tone during dreaming, so they
don't get paralysed... and nothing stops them from getting up
and about!
About 15% of all children, and 2% of adults sleepwalk. The
abnormality seems to disappear as the nervous system matures.
