“The 2 Most Disempowering Words In the English Language”
The most disempowering two words are...
"I wish"
Surprised?
Why is "I wish" disempowering - I mean, doesn't this phrase
convey optimism and hope?
Actually, it conveys the very opposite.
When you say "I wish" you're saying that you DON'T have the power
to get, do or achieve something... that you're ONLY hope lies in
the intervention of
outside forces.
When you say "I wish" you take no action towards your goal...
because it's "not up to you".
And when you say "I wish" you're giving up the power - not
claiming it - to get what you want.
That's why the combination of these two words is so
disempowering.
Each time you say them to yourself, you're reducing your own
perceived power!
Am I being too harsh? After all, what's the harm in "making a
wish" or "wishing upon a star".
Perhaps these phrases are harmless... perhaps not...
But here's something I urge you to say instead of "I wish".
It's:
I WILL!

“Don't Wish For That Dream Job... Get It!”
Are you tired of looking for a job... and getting nowhere? You
know, where you spend day after day pouring through job listings...
applying for countless jobs... sending numerous cover letters and
resumes...
...only to get a “we’ll keep your details on file” rejection
letter... or an interview with someone who seems determined NOT
to hire you?
Well, it's not so surprising when you discover that 50% of all new
jobs go to "Insiders"... people who take a different - and much
more effective - approach to getting the job they want.
Yet all the books, career counsellors and recruiters tell us to
apply for a job using the conventional "Outsider" approach!
No wonder getting a job is so hard.
Well it doesn't have to be... and it's NOT.
Not when YOU discover and apply the Insider approach to getting a
job.
Click here to discover how YOU can use this approach to get
the job you want.
* QUICK TIPS *
“What To Outsource and What To Insource”
Here's a quick rule of thumb to help you decide whether to
“insource” or outsource / automate a task:
1. Insource All Tasks Where:
The total return on your time (ROT) is greater than:
(a) The ROT from doing some other task...
AND
(b) The return on investment (ROI) from paying someone else to do the task.
2. Outsource or Automate All Tasks Where:
The ROI from paying someone else - or
purchasing a tool - to do the task is greater than:
(a) The ROI from using the money for something else...
AND
(b) Paying someone else to do the task.
Keep in mind:
ROI is in total dollar, time or value terms (not a percentage). You can define return however you want.
The ROI is NOT likely to be high if you insource a task that you or your business is not actually good at! Likewise if you outsource to someone who's incompetent...

“How To Cut 20-25% Off Your Gas Bill”
According to Dr. John Heywood, director of MIT’s Sloan Automotive
Lab since 1972, the United States could drop both its gasoline
consumption and its gas bill by 20-25% if people just drove less
aggressively!
Presumably, the average person could also cut 20-25% off their
fuel bill by doing the same.
So...
-- Gradually slow down when approaching a stop light or stop
sign. You want to avoid coming to a sudden halt and slamming on the brake, which requires you to accelerate, and therefore use
more power to get going again...
-- Avoid chronically changing lanes and getting into a stop-start
routine. All that stop-starting is consuming an enormous amount
of fuel. Bad in terms of carbon dioxide emissions and bad for
your pocket book!
