How Being Thankful helps YOU
If you've seen my movie A Bit Of Inspiration and signed up for your free
email mini-course, The 7 Keys To Success you'll know that I
believe the 5th key to success is "Thankfulness".
Why "Thankfulness"?
I mean, some days you might feel anything but thankful! When
things are going pear-shaped, when you're feeling down, when
everything that could go wrong does go wrong...
Well, it's at these very times that feeling thankful will help
you overcome the difficulties and feel better faster.
And I truly believe that if you're reading this now... you
probably are better off than many. People who don't have access
to safe drinking water, let alone access to the Internet!
But I don't mean to preach... At the end of the day, being thank
ful helps YOU.
So, when things are bad... realize that life is a gift. It's not
perfect. It's challenging. It brings grief and sadness as much
as it brings joy and happiness.
But it's still a gift. A gift that you have right now. Make the
most of it my friend :)

“Don’t Apply For A Job... Don’t Even Look For A Job... Until You
Read This!”
Are you tired of looking for a job... and getting nowhere? You
know, where you spend day after day pouring through job listings...
applying for countless jobs... sending numerous cover letters and
resumes...
...only to get a “we’ll keep your details on file” rejection
letter... or an interview with someone who seems determined NOT
to hire you?
Well, it's not so surprising when you discover that 50% of all new
jobs go to "Insiders"... people who take a different - and much
more effective - approach to getting the job they want.
Yet all the books, career counsellors and recruiters tell us to
apply for a job using the conventional "Outsider" approach!
No wonder getting a job is so hard.
Well it doesn't have to be... and it's NOT.
Not when YOU discover and apply the Insider approach to getting a
job.
Click here to discover how YOU can use this approach to get
the job you want.

"How The Best Companies Achieve Superior Performance...
And How You Can Too"
There are no silver bullets!
Recent research by leading management consulting firm,
McKinsey & Co., indicates that to improve business performance and
overall organizational “health”, your company must do a number of
things right... not put its faith in just one or two management
techniques ("silver bullets").
The good news is that while it’s essential to achieve basic
competency in 9 key areas - Direction, Leadership, Culture,
Accountability, Co-ordination of Control, Capabilities, Motivation,
External Orientation and Innovation - you’ll get the best results
by devoting most of your energy to just three of these:
1. Strong Accountability – where everyone understands and accepts their roles and responsibilities, which are matched against the needs and goals of the business;
2. An inspiring Direction – where you clearly articulate an exciting and compelling vision for the future of the organization, which gets buy-in from everyone in the company; and
3. An open and trusting Culture – an environment of openness, trust and challenge, where the emphasis is on internal collaboration, rather than internal competition.
Focus your efforts on these three areas and watch your company
transform for the better.

"Do We Get Smarter As We Grow Older?"
Scientific research revealed on ABC Australia's Catalyst science
program indicates that we DO get "smarter" in several ways as
we age.
Or more precisely, we get "wiser".
Dr Lea Williams of the Brain Dynamics Centre in Sydney, Australia
assessed 1,000 brains across 30 cognitive tests and found that:
- Verbal fluency
- Emotional control, and
- Iimpulse control
all improve with age.
Similarly, L.A. neuroscientist Professor George Bartzokis found that
the brain's white matter (the "cables") connecting the grey matter
(the brain's computers) - become coated in more and more myelin as
we age.
This myelin speeds up brain conductance 100 fold – creating fast brain
"super-highways".
So, as we age we become better at recognizing patterns, evaluating
situations and making wiser decisions.
Makes sense.
After all, as we grow older we have more experience to draw on.
Now, when we hit our 50s our wisdom level starts to plateau... before
declining...
But don't worry, by the time you're in your 70s, you're as wise as a
20-something.
Is that so bad?
Hmmm... now you know why there are so many 70 year olds acting like
20 year olds!
